Seeking a Full-time Clinical Neuropsychologist for a well-established neurology practice in Danbury, CT
We are seeking a Clinical Neuropsychologist to conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations on adults with a variety of neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, and Traumatic Brain Injury. This is a clinical position, but opportunities are also available to participate in clinical research trials. In addition, opportunities for program development are available.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology with formal internship and postdoctoral training in Neuropsychology that conforms to Houston Conference Guidelines. The candidate must be licensed or license-eligible in Connecticut. Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
About Us
We are a growing, progressive practice located about an hour north of New York City, celebrating our 40th year serving the greater Western Connecticut community. As a leader in our community, we were among the first to implement a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record (EHR) and served as the pilot practice for the Western Connecticut Health Network’s Regional Health Information Exchange, HealthLink. Our practice is comprised of 9 neurologists, 3 Physician Assistants, 2 Neuropsychologists, 2 Health/Clinical Psychologists, and 7 Physical Therapists/PT Assistants as well as a large support and billing staff. Within the practice, we offer Neurophysiology services, Behavioral Medicine services (e.g., biofeedback), our Balance and Vestibular Center, Driving evaluations, the Western Connecticut Concussion Center for sports concussion management, and a full-time clinical research program.
