“I have been practicing neurology for over 20 years now. With each passing year, I realize more and more what an honor it is to be in a position to help patients with their neurologic problems. My feeling has always been that it’s essential to treat each patient as I would like my own family treated.

“I am board certified in general neurology and also have subspecialty board certification in neuromuscular disease and vascular neurology (stroke).  In addition to seeing patients, I am the Founder and Medical Director of the Danbury Hospital Stroke Center, which has earned Primary Stroke Center designation by The Joint Commission and the State of Connecticut. I also have specialized training and 15 years experience in concussion and am team neurologist for Western CT State University and the Danbury Whalers.  In the last year, I have established the Western CT Concussion Center at Associated Neurologists.  We provide a multidisciplinary approach, including diagnosis, cognitive testing, guidelines for school or work, and rehabilitative services as well as community outreach.   I have also been heavily involved in oversight of quality of care as Chief of Neurology at Danbury Hospital and past president of Danbury Hospital’s medical staff.  I am currently the chairman of peer review at the hospital and serve on the health system board of directors.  I am committed to making your visit here at Associated Neurologists as pleasant as possible and ensuring the highest quality of care.”
